
If you have littles or homeschooled children, here’s some great story times coming up in March around Summerville! We are so lucky to have so many fun, interactive story times in town.
Twisted Sugar hosts a story time every first Thursday of the month at 10am. This Thursday, March 5th, they will host a St. Patrick’s themed story time with books about leprechauns and kids will have an opportunity to craft a leprechaun trap. Cookies and drinks available for purchase but the event is otherwise free.
Sip N’ Slide Play Cafe hosts a story time every Tuesday from 10-11am. Local author Mr. Steve will be there doing a Dr. Seuss party story time this Tuesday, March 3rd and Auntie Leslie will be hosting a spring story time there on March 17th. Story time is included with a day play pass ($13).
Main Street Reads hosts a weekly story time on Wednesdays at 9:30am. This Wednesday, March 4th, Auntie Leslie is hosting a Dr. Seuss Story Time with special guest Raphael James from Live 5 News. This story time is free!
Magnolia Plantation and Gardens Story Strolls are one hour events that include stories and walks to discover special spots on the property. The next story stroll with open space is March 11th from 10-11am. You can enjoy a special animal tale read by a member of the Wildlife Center team, followed by a stop at the Wildlife Center to meet a furry resident featured in the story. Summit Coffee Nexton hosts a story time the first Wednesday of the month with local authors and crafts for kids, with the next one coming up on Wednesday, March 4th at 9am.
