If you’d like to enjoy a meal out while cutting the cost, here’s some options where kids can eat free (or cheap)! These all apply to the Summerville locations of these restaurants and have been verified by yours truly. Each restaurant includes highlights of the kid’s menu, so you can know if it’s something that would appeal to your kids. If there’s one to add to the list, please reply to this email to let us know! And if you’re wanting to eat out cheap on a Thursday night, we highly recommend heading to Viva Chicken for a $25 Bruno’s Big Chicken meal to share with the family.
Everyday:
Charleston Sports Pub: During the SNAP benefits shutdown, kids 13 & younger can get one free meal a day for dine-in. No purchase necessary. Menu includes chicken nuggets, pancakes, corndogs, quesadillas, and more.
Sundays:
Moe’s Southwest Grill: Kids eat free with the purchase of any adult entrée. Menu includes burritos, quesadillas, and tacos.
Mondays:
Co-Op Frose and Eatery: Kids 12 & younger eat free with the purchase of a signature sandwich or salad. Menu includes pb&j, ham or turkey sandwich, and grilled cheese.
Tuesdays:
Eggs Up Grill: Parents can get a free kid’s meal at all three Summerville Eggs Up Grill locations (Knightsville, Cane Bay, and Ladson locations). Menu items include breakfast combos (eggs, waffles, pancakes, sausage, bacon, fruit, etc.) and cheeseburgers.
East Bay Deli: East Bay Deli Summerville location has free kid’s meals with purchase of an adult entrée from 4pm-close. Menu includes deli sandwiches, mac and cheese, corndogs, and more.
Wednesdays:
Top of the Tap Greek Taverna: Kids eat free. Menu items include chicken tenders, grilled chicken, and half gyro.
Newk’s Eatery: Kids eat free with the purchase of an adult entrée on Wednesdays from 4pm to close. Menu items include pizza, mac and cheese, and sandwiches.
Steel City Pizza Co.: Kids eat for $2 with the purchase of an adult entrée or pizza (2 kids meals/adult). Menu items include pizza slices, corn dogs, chicken tenders, spaghetti and meatballs, ravioli, and more.
Fridays:
Poogan’s Southern Kitchen: Kids 12 & younger eat free with the purchase of each adult entrée from 3-10pm. Menu items include chicken tenders, grilled cheese, cheeseburger, and butter noodles.
Saturdays:
Luxe Bar & Bistro: Kids 12 & under eat free with the purchase of an adult entrée from 11am-4pm. Menu items include flatbreads, grilled cheese, and pb&j.
