Flowertown Festival is Here π΄
Weβre sending this bonus issue to make your trip to Flowertown Festival a little easier.
First: Hereβs a link which includes a full festival map and list of vendors. It was just put out yesterday by the YMCA (the eventβs host).Β
We live within walking distance of the festival, so our family tries to go every day it lasts. Last night we went from 4:30-6pm for some quality time together, and to scope it out for you.
We started by taking a ride on the Happy Trains train. Itβs tucked behind the other rides in Kiddie Land (near 6th and Main St.) but does a giant loop and our toddler absolutely loved it. We didnβt need to wait in line and it was fun to support a veteran owned, local business.Β

Then we got dessert before dinner (who else does this sometimes π ) at The Pinneapple Hut truck. This pregnant momma will be back for more pinneapple goodness todayβ¦ and probably tomorrow too. After my first bite I literally said βOh my goodness weβre coming here every day this weekend.β For those who are dairy free, youβll love it. And for those who arenβt (like Daniel) β youβll also love it!
After dessert we got some fish and chips and a deep fried sausage from The Codfather (which we all devoured). Their tent is right in between the Hallβs Chophouse Tent (yes they have a tent lol) and Nothing Bundt Cakes.
Weβre excited to go back this morning and check out all the local crafts vendors, the seasonβs first farmerβs market, and eat more delicious food (probably too much food who are we kidding).Β
Keep your eyes peeled for all the other fun events that are going on in downtown Summerville during the Flowertown Festival.

Wishing your family a safe and fun weekend, whatever you do!Β
