If you’re looking for a new favorite bubble tea shop, you’re in luck—Boba Fusion Milk Tea has officially arrived in Summerville! Opened the day after Christmas, this locally owned gem off Old Trolley Road brings a wide variety of milk teas, smoothies, frappes, and iced coffees, along with an incredible selection of fresh-baked pastries and premium ice cream treats.

While their milk tea menu is packed with delicious flavors, Boba Fusion is also a dessert lover’s dream. They serve up freshly baked cookies, turnovers, and danishes, along with eight flavors of Tillamook ice cream—perfect for pairing with their unique waffle nachos or rolled bubble waffles.
When we stopped in, our toddler happily snacked on cookies while Daniel tried a Guava Jasmine Green Tea with passionfruit popping boba. With so many unique drink and dessert options, we already know we’ll be coming back to try more!

What makes Boba Fusion even more special is the story behind it. Owners Thera and Jesse, Summerville locals and fellow parents, have been dreaming of opening their own boba shop for nearly a decade. When they moved to the area nine years ago, they noticed there were no bubble tea spots nearby, but the timing wasn’t right to start their business. After years of planning—and a long construction process—they finally opened their doors the day after Christmas.
